What I Offer
Every home project is unique— but most homeowners face similar challenges: unclear plans, unknown or unreliable contractors, and a lack of practical guidance. I help you bridge the gaps to achieve a successful outcome. Whether you’re planning a full remodel or tackling a DIY landscape project, my coaching, oversight, and hands-on expertise will be tailored to your needs.
If you are ready to get started on your project or would like to see if I am a good fit for your situation, let’s talk about it!
Project Planning & Oversight
Before you break ground or sign a contract, I can help you set your project up for success:
Define scope, budget, and phasing
Review objectives, approaches, and possible alternatives
Prioritize critical or high-impact work
Sequence and schedule work and trades
Assist with permit planning and realistic timelines
Contractor & Trade Coordination
Managing contractors and tradespeople can be one of the most stressful parts of a project. I can help you:
Review bids and identify gaps or overlaps
Vet subcontractors for skill and reliability
Represent your interests during planning and walkthroughs
Coordinate sequencing to avoid costly delays
Help resolve any issues that arise
You’re still the project owner— but with an experienced advocate by you side.
DIY Coaching, Execution & Troubleshooting
Some homeowners are more than capable of doing most of the work on a project— but hesitate to start without guidance. I specialize in cooperative arrangments where you lead the effort with me as your direct assistant. Together, we will

You’re still the project owner— but with an experienced advocate by you side.
Light Hands-On Support
While my focus is on planning, coordination, and oversight, in some cases I can provide limited hands-on help— particularly where quality or setup is critical. This can include:
Demonstrating techniques to get you started
Performing minor repairs or installations
Assisting with features where detail matters
My goal is to help you succeed— not to take over the job
Not sure where to start?
Every project begins with a converstation. Let’s talk through your ideas and goals and see if I might be able to help.

DIY Coaching and Troubleshooting
Some homeowners are more than capable of taking on a moderate project— but hesitate to start without guidance. I specialize in cooperative arrangements where you lead the effort with my direct assistance. I will help you:
Define the project scope and goals
Review and refine your design and plans
Explore alternatives or additions worth considering now (even if outside the initial scope)
Break the work into clearly understandable steps
Offer practical advice and safety guidance as we go along.
In many cases— especially landscaping— hiring hourly-rate laborers with the right prep and direction can dramatically expand what you’re able to take on— and typically with substantially lower cost than hiring a contractor.
